That doesn't make them good parents. Good parents moderate what they think they're child can handle at their particular maturity level. That's what the (more often than not ignored) ratings systems are for and why politicians should have no right to bash and censor games and other media. That's the real problem, not enough people moderate the things their child comes into contact with. Then, they have the audacity to blame violent media for their child's behavior. I'm not saying your parents are bad, but look at it the way you just posted. You're basically saying that if a 7 year old has money, they have the right to buy rated M games and such. Now, I know you're gonna wanna say that you were talking about anime and not games, but let's be real. Many of them are just as gorey and violent, if not more so, than most games. Sorry, for the rant guys, but I just felt like that was an ignorant post.

I have been watching "bad" stuff all my life and it has no negative effect. I have never done drugs, attacked someone, etc. I think dumb kids do dumb **** because they arn't allowed too and haven't been exposed to it enough. Just look at all the dumb kids that do drugs because they think its "cool".

I could have worded that better but I think you get the point.

hmmm.
sounds like what my mother thinks about me listening to death metal...
that I'd turn into a serial killer or something by listening to it.
I've done my share of watching and listening to "bad" things also... I'm still straight-edge, pasifist ol' Nick.

I think I know what you're talking about.
How like in countries that don't have age-related, alcoholic prohibitions, giving alcoholic beverages to minors isn't a big problem because they don'y drink like crazy to get drunk, they enjoy it like any other beverage. And said problem exists in America because everyone has to make a big deal over it.
But since that label is already formed here, taking away all prohibitions would cause chaos. If only there were a way to make a transistion.

Why not just make it smaller in photoshop, or cut out the empty space at the top and bottom of the pic?
