random song selection

How about a random song selection simular to what stepmania has where it just counts the number of songs in your songs folder then scrolls randomly to pick or jumps to that songs. Would be kinda cool to have if you just wanted to randomly choose a song and your like most of us that have probably 500+ songs in your library lol.. Just a though dunno how hard this would be to code but if you like this idea lets posts some thumbs up on it so we can maybe get this implimented in a future version of FoF :)

Wow almost 20 views and not one would like to also see this idea implimented? Think it would be a pretty cool one myself seeing it would mix things up. Forgot to add that maybe the random selection could be done as a seperate menu .. something like Quick Play > Random > <Insert Random Song> and if you don't like that one you can simply do something like Quick Play > Random > Choose New Song > <Insert New Random Song> :)

It would be nice, but FoFiX development is nearly dead. You may be interested in trying Phase Shift though, it's a rhythm game that supports RB/FoF style charts and does include a random song feature:

not only for fofix, but for the first fof, that would be cool
but like the other guy said, if your looking for a jump-to-any-song thing, i would recommend Phase Sh1ft as well
